About Myfintec

An independent publication about financial technology, written for technology-aware consumers, retail traders and fintech professionals.

What we cover

Myfintec reports on financial technology and the systems underneath it: digital assets and their infrastructure, banking innovation and payments, financial regulation and policy, trading education, the providers people hand their money to, and the consumer risk that runs through all of it.

Coverage is separated into three editorial types so a reader always knows what they are reading. News is dated reporting on something that happened. Analysis argues a position or explains a mechanism. Reviews assess a named provider or platform.

The archive and this rebuild

This site carries 27 records migrated from the earlier Myfintec publication. Migrated material is preserved as originally published — including its date and byline — and every migrated record is labelled as legacy content with a verification status of unreviewed. We do not rewrite archive claims into new copy, headlines or metadata to make them sound current or more certain.

Where automated review found language that reads as a profit claim, price forecast or safety promise, the record carries a visible claim warning. Those statements are historical text, not positions Myfintec holds.

Independence and limits

We publish information, not advice. Myfintec never promises profit, returns or safety, and never presents a provider as risk-free. Where a record's commercial context is unknown — as is the case across the legacy archive — we say so on the page rather than implying independence we cannot evidence.

Editorial standards are set out in the editorial policy and verification methodology. Errors are handled through corrections.
